I'm thrilled to announce that, this year, my comics will finally be available IN PRINT.

Erosetti Press, a new small publisher, will be printing "The Collar and Other Fetish Stories" in February. This collection spans more than 100 pages, featuring "The Collar," "Fetish Affaire," and several other short stories from "FetixX Files Bondage" and "Short Fetish Stories."

For more information, check out their website and Twitter. Stay tuned for updates!

Furthermore, they are currently holding a "Call for Manuscripts" for fetish stories that I will be illustrating throughout the year. I'll be creating 1-3 black and white drawings with shades of grey per each story. The publisher will conduct an initial selection, after which I will make the final choice. The downside: the writers won't be compensated. The upside: you won't have to pay me – he covers the costs! I'm the bait! Also, he'll be sending a couple of printed copies to the authors.

If you're interested, the deadline is February 14th!

Best Regards,

Hello!

This month I'd like to do a bunch of illustrations imitating the style of old saucy magazine cartoons. You know: a sexy girl in a strange (fetish!) situation with a funny dialogue line at the bottom.

You can find some suitable samples in my own gallery:

But this time I would like to hear YOUR ideas and suggestions!

So what do I need from you?

- Only the scene description of an interesting situation: fetish, sexy, funny, intriguing...

- Only the clever dialogue line. For example based on any drawing from my DA gallery (that I can adapt) or based on the scene description of another person.

- The combination of both: scene description + text line.

It doesn't need to be perfect from the start. This is not a contest to win or to lose. It's a creative collaboration. I hope that you are open to adjustments and the suggestions of other people always in the aim to improve the basic idea.

I plan to do 4-6 drawings depending on the participation and the complexity of the selected ideas. I will post some here in DA but others will only be available on my Patreon (especially those that exceed what is allowed here). Of course to all who I use his ideas I can send the final uncensored drawing through private email.

Deadlines: Let's say about one week (until the 18th Feb) to receive the ideas in the comments below (not private messages!) and I will work on them during the last week of February.

Thanks for reading and your eager collaboration! :-)

Now and then someone or some group of people get offended for one of my drawings. Obviously they know what's Right and Wrong and what an artist should do (and not do).

In this text I will expose some of my thoughts about the ethics of my job and my easy set of Rules (at the end).

....

Some background:

1) I've had bdsm fantasies since a very young age. I don't consider I got "perverted" in any way. I started searching for bdsm stuff after I have already discovered my inclinations.

2) I live in Spain. For many years my country lived under the fascist government of the militar dictator Franco and a strong Church. Lot of censorship about sex and politic affaires. After Franco died (old, in bed) censorship diluted and it arrived some crazy years of cheap erotism in magazines and films. Now it's OK. Porn is in internet, of course. But we still have a King. And you can go to jail if you criticize him. We also have independence parties...and it's complicated too. There are a few politicians in prison or outlaws, not clear the reason why. I'm not sure if we have full free speech.

....

Any artistic creation can be used for many goals: entertainment, sexual aruosal, provoque, instruct, advertisement, jokes, etc. But beware that the artist can aim to one purpose and the watcher can find another meaning or even the opposite! Indeed, some critics have more imagination than the artists! The classic book "Seduction of the innocent" by Fredric Wertham was one of the first successes of the evergreen thesis of comics/games/films/whatever are the origin of bad behaviour in young people and therefore the roots of all evil in society. This thesis of "X induces weak minds to Y" comes back regularly under different disguises, but it's never fully proved. In fact, violence has decreased in modern societies even we are now more exposed than ever to porn, games, films and any kind of "dangerous information" thanks to the internet.

Let's say I, as an artist, decide to do a comic about a serial killer. Lot's of violence. Point of view of the killer. Am I encouraging my readers to become killers? Is it better if he dies at the end? Should the message be clear? "Crime doesn't pay". If he dies after long suffering and an efficient police persecution is then the message clear enough? Does it change anything if the killer is white, black (or any other ethnic) or a woman? What if the serial killer is James Bond and it's the hero of the story? Are some killings better than others?

In my erotic area: If I draw a harcore sex orgy with Donald Trump...is it funny? What if I draw Barack Obama instead? What if it's Hillary Clinton? What's different between a white fat guy, a slim black guy and an old woman?

When I draw a chubby girl in bondage... Am I degrading all women of the world? Am I praising the importance of the diversity of body types in porn? Doesn't it can be just my fantasy? What I like?

Does the context matter? Should I add a note in each and every drawing that explain "they are adults playing in a safe, sane and consensual situation and nobody got hurt"? Well, it's a drawing! It's a fantasy! It's not my duty to educate anyone. I do porn fictions. I aim to adult audiences that (I hope) they know the difference between fiction and reality.

Most fantasies (comics, games, films, books) are an escape from reality, to explore possibilities we can't live in our normal life. We are attracted by what is forbiden, by our dark side. In a fantasy you can be a hero, a ganster, or a pornstar. Fast and easy. Without consecuences.

If someone commits a crime, it's because he is crazy, not because of a game which is also played by another millions of people (who doesn't commit crimes). The seller of a kitchen knife trusts the buyer will use it properly and not to kill somebody. After watching an action film you don't start prosecuting evil guys. In the News we can see corruption unpunished and still believe in Justice and good people. Fiction, reality. Most people can see clearly the line. If it's not your case, you should go to the doctor.

What is legal or illegal, right or wrong, depends on who has the power. It changes over time. It's cultural. Political. Even trendy. You can't and shouldn't control your fantasies.

Live and let live. Learn to live among people who are not like you and relax.

----

Here comes my Set of Rules of thumb for erotic artists:

If you like it:

----> Do it.

If you don't like it:

----> Don't do it.

If it's adult stuff:

----> Put a warning in proper places: "Only for Adults".

If someone gets offended:

----> You can't control that. Everything can potentially be offensive for someone else. Don't argue.

If it's forbidden in one place:

----> Don't post it there. Find other places. Internet is big enough.

If it's illegal:

----> Don't do it

(but if you really feel the urge, because you believe it's good and necessary and not harmful for anyone, then do it and use a pseudonym)

If you are starving:

----> Take the money and do it.

(You'll have time for regrets another day)
